Challenge:
Red Lane in Qiantan, Pudong, Shanghai, is a unique semi-outdoor urban commercial district. In order to attract visibility and foot traffic, client wanted a large design element on available wall frontage facing the major road. The design should have major visual impact, while also be relevant to the key demographic group of young urban white-collar professionals and families.
Solution:
PETS WELCOME
With over 2 million cat and dog pets, and growing, Shanghai’s pet owner community is constantly looking for pet destinations. Since Red Lane was newly launched, we wanted this group to “see” that this new district was pet-friendly. We created the “moving eye” visual hook to make it more engaging, and also attract shoppers to post on social media. It also implied a stimulating experience for their pets at Red Lane.
